The Raytek website now (November 2008) has included a glossary of terms they believe are used in Infrared Temperature measurements.

The terms covered are very broad and include many items appropriate for general temperature measurement with contact temperature sensors as well as noncontact ones. many of the terms seem to ones arrived at without consultation with the extensive set of terms referred to in the DeWitt & Nutter book: Theory and Practice of Radiation Thermometry(ISBN-10: 0471610186) or the recent vocabulary developed by an ISO / IEC Committee described at the 2008 ThermoSense meeting in Orlando FL, IEC SC65B WG5.
(The ThermoSense website has its own imperfect glossary that is some 10 to 15 years old, but contains many terms directly related to thermal imaging)
